| THURSDAY
WEDNESDAY: 15:00; 2 miles (8:00; 7:00); Robbie stayed longer and ran 3.
I've been just absolutely tearing it at work. Today we started a foundation for injured children, filed the articles of incorporation, drafted the vision, mission statement, objectives. It's terribly exciting!
| ANOTHER 20 HOUR DAY?
Up at 1:30 am to start the day. May have a videographer coming over tonight to complete our studio setup and continue FCP7 editing tutolege. Could easily be another 20 day like a week ago when I got up at 2 am! :-0. Will be interesting to see if I make it through the "day" and whether I get a workout in. Don't know how realistic, but I might try to get a tiny nap right before the "real" day begins at 7 am.
This much I know ... I'm gonna get two days worth of stuff done!
| RUN: 24:00 (8:20; 8:00; 7:40)
Simple as that. Put in 20 hours of marketing work in St. Louis over the Thanksgiving Holiday and yet had great fun with the family, spent hours at the zoo, got some good shopping in. Had the best and brightest Thanksgiving ever! Left St. Louis at 3 pm yesterday. 7+ hours later back in KC after 10 pm. Got up JUST before rush hour, got downtown around 7:30 am, got a decent little run in, and got to work by 8 am. Not bad!
| RUN: 31:00 (approx); 4 miles (approx); Forest Park; 1:00 pm ... It was a perfect spring day in the middle of winter! I ran Forest Park, and I started out fast, since I knew the run would be short, maybe 3 miles, so we could head out to the zoo. Unfortunately, my Garmin somehow paused 4 minutes into the run so I wasn't able to get any accurate stats. It was a sunny mid-60's December day, if not warmer. Lot's of runners and bikers. WOW! WHAT A DAY!! GOOD RUN!! | | |
| The Clayton YMCA this evening ... RUN: 48:45; 6 miles (8:30; 8:15; 8:00; 8:00; 8:00; 8:00); 8 pm Me, Z, Jen, and Shirley all went to the Clayton Y. Imagine 3 generations of treadmillers, all in a row. somewhat humorous. After running/walking for a half hour or so, Z tried some of the other machines. I think she had a good time. She is now old enough to have an orientation at the YMCA and use the equipment. What a great development! A gym partner for life (and a couple more not too far behind)! Since we had just eaten Shirley's spaghetti about an hour earlier, 6 miles were a little bit uncomfortable but not too bad. It was nice to do a little more distance than the shorter stuff recently. GOOD RUN. | | |
